Today my work was driven from London to Edinburgh along with the work of the 9 other Greenwich Printmakers who I will exhibit with at The Edinburgh Art Fair 2015. I am hanging 8 etchings all related to dance and movement. The Little Book of Answers
Yesterday at Tate Modern, visual artist Laura Malacart led a fascinating and engaging one day event in the Turbine Hall. The Little Book of Answers was based on a book she has compiled, there was a choice of short activities to participate in
Kinetic memorisation, a 15 minute movement-based workshop
British pronunciation, a 15 minute voice workshop
Laura Malacart’s practice focuses on language voice and collaborative modes to interrogate socio-political categories that contribute to the production of identity.

Greenwich World Cultural Festival, Eltham Palace
Greenwich World Cultural Festival is a free dynamic one day festival that takes place at Eltham Palace and Gardens with a diverse celebration of dance, music, theatre, art and circus. It is a Greenwich Dance initiative, where I am Resident Artist. For the third year I was invited to run the family Art activities in the sunken moat. Thank you to the wonderful Art team: Max McKay-Jones, Georgie Harrison, Gaby McKay-Jones, and Becky. Max and Georgie worked with the children during the afternoon creating a cardboard tower inspired by the entrance to Eltham Palace
At the end of the day it was knocked down jumped on and moved to the recycling bins

Royal Academy. Summer Exhibition Illustrated 2015
Last night at the Private View of the Summer Exhibition, my daughter picked out works that if she had the money she would buy for herself and a few she would buy for me, as we left I suggested an affordable option, a look in the shop to see if there were cards of her favourites, I flicked through the ‘Summer Exhibition Illustrated 2015‘, “First published in the 1870’s the Summer Exhibition Illustrated presents the highlights of each year’s selection and is a fascinating barometer of changing tastes” ‘I’ll buy this for you if they’re in here’, to my delight I saw my etching Rapidly Scrawled Life is in the book above Cornelia Parker’s Stolen Thunder III.
